Waiting for your luggage to come still is the worst experience ever… Mine arrived the VERY LAST ONE from Portland last sunday afternoon…
NIKE WORLD HEADQUARTERS - BEAVERTON, OR
Monday, May 19th, 2008
I spent some time last Friday at Nike’s Campus in Beaverton, OR, located 20mn West of Portland. Around 5,000 employees work there and you get the feeling you are inside some US University, with a man made lake and fabulous sport facilities. An incredible visit thanks to my man Julien Cahn! Thanks again, talk to you soon!
SANTA MONICA

WELCOME TO LA
Sunday, May 11th, 2008
Arrived to LA yesterday morning where I’m staying at my very good friends Carmen and Adam! Carmen just got her Medical ID to buy healing herbs yesterday, which basically means you get to buy great pot at a local farmacy.
POWELL ST.
Saturday, May 10th, 2008
Gotta thank a few people today! First, that’s Matt above from The Darkside Initiative (that place used to be Recon SF on Powell). He offered me the green Sophnet. X Nike Free Trail 5.0 at the crazy price of $70. Thanks a lot man, I really appreciate that! More after the jump…
ADIEU CONNARD
Saturday, May 10th, 2008
HUF & THSF!
Friday, May 9th, 2008
My hotel happens to be a 3mn walking distance from HUF (that’s my man JB on the left, thanks) and the new store from The Hundreds. I was impressed by both stores, great interior design, friendly customer service, the very best!
PDX TO SFO
Friday, May 9th, 2008
Left Portland last Tuesday to go to San Francisco, CA. The Bay Area is probably one of my favorite area in the US. There just something in the air here (I’m not speaking about the freezing wind) that makes Northen California different from the rest. Oh, and I’m finally going to enjoy some €/$ crazyness!
BURNSIDE, MOUNT HOOD, …
Tuesday, May 6th, 2008
Skateboarding in an almost empty (but still legendary) Burnside, watching Mount Hood on the horizon… Those were definitively some highlights of my stay in Portland last week. I’ll be back there in about 10 days…
DOWNTOWN PORTLAND, OR
Monday, May 5th, 2008
Portland’s a great city. Think middle-size, liveable city with about 500,000 people. Although it’s the biggest city in Oregon, you can hardly get lost thanks to the Willamette River and its many bridges. People are really laid back and you can feel a strong concern for environmental issues. Here are a quick shots taken from the first day, dowtown. I will post more soon, think snowboarder heaven Mount Hood, skateboarding mecca Burnside, etc.
