PROJECT S2DIO #022 – JEREMYVILLE

Jeremyville est un artiste, product designer, animateur et humain à la fois. Il a écrit et produit son premier livre en 2004, Vinyl Will Kill, véritable bible sur les designer toys. Publié par IdN, il interview des acteurs de ce mouvement tels Fafi, Sarah de Colette, Tim Tsui, Jason Siu, Kinsey et Kozik. Il a fait partie, cette année, d’une exposition collective chez Colette, avec de grands noms: Kaws, Fafi, Futura, Mike Mills, Takashi Murakami. Il a également initié le projet “Sketchel” en proposant à des artistes comme Beck, Geneviève Gauckler et Gary Baseman de customiser des sacs satchel. Il vient tout juste de sortir un nouveau livre intitulé “Jeremyville Sessions”, avec des collaborations de Geoff McFetridge, Miss Van, Devilrobots, STRANGEco, Lego, Converse, MTV et Adidas. Ses oeuvres ont été publiées dans des livres de design chez IdN, Die Gestalten Verlag, All Rights Reserved, Victionary, Kidrobot, Faesthetic et Pictoplasma.

Jeremyville partage son temps entre son studio de Sydney, et celui de New York. Il collectionne t-shirts rares, sneakers, toys et possède environ 220 jeans, mais ne les porte que l’un après l’autre.

Jeremyville is an artist, product designer, animator and human. He wrote and produced the first book in the world on designer toys called Vinyl Will Kill, published by IdN, interviewing peole like Fafi, Sarah from Colette, Tim Tsui, Jason Siu, Kinsey and Kozik. He has been in a group show at Colette in 2007 alongside KAWS, Fafi, Futura, Mike Mills and Takashi Murakami. He has initiated the ‘sketchel’ custom art satchel project with artists like Beck, Geneviève Gauckler and Gary Baseman. He has a new book out called “Jeremyville Sessions”, with collaborations with Geoff McFetridge, Miss Van, Devilrobots, STRANGEco, Lego, Converse, MTV and Adidas. His art has been published in design books by IdN, Die Gestalten Verlag, All Rights Reserved, Victionary, Kidrobot, Faesthetic and Pictoplasma.

Jeremyville splits his time between studios in Sydney Australia and New York City. He collects rare t-shirts, sneakers, toys and owns about 220 pairs of jeans, but wears them one at a time.
