The corner of 23rd Street and Park Ave. proved to be one of the most crucial spots to be in Miami during Art Basel this year. Here, lucky visitors could take in both the F.A.M.E Collective (a private exhibition curated by Josh Liner of Lineage Gallery and housed in an impressive four-story house), and Gen Art’s Vanguard exhibition (assembled by Miami artist and curator Francesco LoCastro).
Both events helped set the bar for years to come, operating completely independent of the traditional art-fair circuit and playing host to some of the best parties alongside the backdrop of the most progressive and sought after artists of the contemporary/lowbrow pop movement. Thanks to Jeff from At Arms/The Art Collectors.
