SupaKitch est avant tout un artiste qui travaille à l’instinct et joue avec tous les médias (peinture, sculpture et photographie) et techniques (peinture aérosol et acrylique, affichage, infographie…). C’est dans le mélange qu’il puise sa richesse. Son style immédiatement reconnaissable vient de sa palette aux couleurs vives et sucrées, de son dessin précis mais rond, du graphisme, du raffinement des détails, l’élégance de ses compositions…Mais malgré l’esthétisme qui prévaut dans ses œuvres, on ne peut passer outre le sujet de ses « tranches de vie » : un nous rappelle la difficulté de contrôler ses émotions, un autre nous met face au consumérisme latent de notre société, et un troisième parle des paranoïas ou mal-être qui flottent dans les civilisations contemporaines. SupaKitch is, before anything else, an artist using his instinct and playing with all kind of medias (painting, sculpture, photography) and techniques (spray painting and acrylic, posting, computer graphics…). It is in the mixture that he draws his richness. His immediately recognizable style comes from his pallet of sharp and sweetened colors, his precise but round drawing, from graphic design, from the refinement of his details, the elegance of his compositions… But despite the esthetics which prevails in his works, one cannot forget about his « a day in the life » subjects: one reminds us of the difficulty to control one’s emotions, another one puts us face to face with the latent consumerism of our society, and a third one speaks about paranoias or discomforts that float in contemporary civilizations.
